In the morning, you will go to the rehabilitation center - Makoa Farm, located at the foot of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro. Observation of monkeys in their natural habitat makes a truly unforgettable impression. Here you will have the opportunity to get to know them and play. They are completely peaceful because they are in the contact with people who care about them. Your guide will tell the history of Makoa Farm and answer any further questions. After returning to the main building and having a delicious hot lunch, you will begin to meet with other residents of Makoa Farm: serval, mongoose, secretary bird, baboon, velvet and blue monkeys, marabou and others. Unfortunately, many of them cannot survive in the wild, that’s why they are contained and provided care by people.
In addition to the employees who feed the animals, there are also professional veterinarians and trainers who help to monitor the health and psychological aspect of the beasts.
